adequately: in a way that is large enough or good enough for a particular purpose.

ambition: energy and desire to succeed and accomplish things.

apathetic: showing a complete lack of interest in or feeling about things in general.

challenge: something that tests someone’s abilities and requires him to use his best efforts at all times.

confront: face someone or something without avoiding him or it.

differentiation: the action of noticing or understanding the difference between two or more things.

environment: one’s surroundings, including all space, objects, living things and forces around him.

estimate: make an approximate judgment about something using the information one has.

Greenwich Village: a residential section of Manhattan in New York City, very popular among artists, writers and students, especially in the past.

hostile: unfriendly or showing dislike.

Igorrotes: a group of people living in the mountainous northern part of the island of Luzon, the chief island of the Philippines, and made up of various tribes.

influence: someone or something that affects one’s thinking or actions.

optional: that you can choose to do but do not have to do.

overwhelming: causing someone to feel helpless from trying to deal with something that is too much or too difficult for him to handle.

professional: relating to or done as a profession (skilled work that someone is paid to do).

social worker: a person involved in social work, work designed to help people or communities who are socially disadvantaged, for example, poor, old or physically handicapped people.

threatening: causing someone to feel anxious, fearful and not confident about what will happen.
